The InSinkErator brand maintains a proud history of innovation when it comes to the kitchen sink. InSinkErator is the preferred brand of choice by professional plumbers when it comes to hot water disposers and garbage disposals. Their products are simple to install, come accompanied by industry-leading service warranties, and simply offer consumers greater peace of mind. What more could you ask for? The newest member of their product line is the InSinkErator Contractor 333 ¾ HP Garbage Disposer, and it is quickly developing its own fan base.
The Contractor 333 (see today's price) is a continuous feed garbage disposal, and the size of the motor makes it ideal for larger households. All of the grinding components are made from stainless steel, which also helps extend the lifespan of the disposer. While not the quietest garbage disposer on the market, its size and power make it suitable for a variety of tasks.

What We think
My wife and I bought the InSinkErator Contractor 333 ¾ HP Garbage Disposer as a replacement for the model the original builder provided when we bought our house 13 years ago. I called InSinkErator to see if they could help me pick a disposer that would be compatible with the worn out one, and this was the model that the customer service rep recommended. I’m nowhere close to being a professional electrician or plumber, but I was able to install the Contractor 333 perfectly on the first try. In fact, total installation time from the moment I opened the box to cleanup was about 40 minutes.
When you hold the disposal in your hand, you can tell that it’s well-built. It feels solid. Size-wise, it measures 14 x 8 x 0.08 inches. The unit is corded-electric, so you can either hardwire it into your kitchen’s electrical wiring, or if an electrical outlet is available, you can just plug it right in.
I appreciate the fact that all of the grinding mechanisms are made from stainless steel. There’s a handy reset button on the bottom of the motor. Since my old InSinkErator lasted for 13 years, I’m expecting a similar performance out of this one. I will say that this is not the quietest garbage disposal that I’ve ever used, but it’s not so loud that you can’t carry on a conversation in the same room while it’s running.
Price-wise, the Contractor 333 won’t break the break, but for me, what tipped the scales in its favor was the comprehensive warranty that InSinkErator offers on this model. The warranty covers the cost of parts and labor for the next 3 years. On the slim chance that something goes wrong with this unit, InSinkErator will send a trained technician to my home to make the repairs for me. There are many other things I’d rather be doing with my Saturday than spending it with my head stuck under the kitchen sink, so this is something I can greatly appreciate.

Final Thoughts
The InSinkErator rep who recommended the InSinkErator Contractor 333 ¾ HP Garbage Disposer was spot on. This model is well worth the price we paid for it. Before I took it out of the box, I went online and did a little more research on it. It should have come as no surprise that the Contractor 333 has dozens upon dozens of five-star reviews. If you’re looking for a garbage disposal that is affordable and efficient, then this model just might be exactly what you’re looking for.
